So I’ll keep going on by suggesting to you another recipe that I found in the internet and which directly come from an Indian Chef. This dish makes me think about tortillas but it sure does not have the same consistency and taste. I picked up this recipe from a video and made the translation.
For the paratha :
2 cups of flour
1 pinch of salt
Sugar
30g of melted butter
About 15ml of warm milk
Mix all the ingredients until you get a soft dough. Put some olive oil in a bowl and then the dough. Let it sit while you are preparing the stuffing.
For the stuffing :
2 tbsp of coriander seeds freshly grounded
Some red chili
Garlic
Diced tomatoes
2 tbsp of fresh coriander
Crushed ginger
1 tsp of garam masala
1 tsp of turmeric
Some chicken breast
In a skillet, put some oil, 1 tsp of crushed garlic, the coriander seeds with the red chili, stir a few seconds and add the diced tomatoes. A few minutes later and while the tomatoes are cooking, add the turmeric, about 1 tsp of crushed ginger and a full tbsp of fresh coriander. Stir well and add the chicken. Once the chicken is cooked, add the remaining of fresh coriander, garam masala and salt.
Let it simmer for about 2 minutes and the stuffing is ready.
For the roll preparation :
Take the dough and divide it into 10 rolls. Take each roll and roll it into a small round and cook in a non-stick skillet. Once the parathas are ready, take a deep skillet, add some oil. Take a battered egg, pour and spread in the skillet. Immediately, put a paratha. Flip it to cook the other side. Stuff with the mixture and enjoy.
