The famous gratin of my mother-in-law

Today, I am introducing you to one of the many dishes I cooked during this Ramadan. This recipe from my mother-in-law (a wonderful cook), is very easy to prepare and is enjoyed by the whole family. I tried to describe the different steps with pictures (first time); you will understand that it is not easy to cook and take pictures at the same time. Here you go and I hope you will enjoy this simple but oh so delicious!!

For about 6 servings

5 to 6 chicken breasts

2 medium onions

Cinnamon

Black pepper

Salt

Oil

Potatoes

Grated cheese (or sandwich cheese)

4 eggs

In a pressure cooker, put some oil, onions, cinnamon, salt, black pepper and let it simmer. Add a little water and leave it simmer until the chicken is cooked. Then take out the chicken, cut in tiny pieces and set aside.

Take the potatoes, peel and cut in dices that you will fry.

In a baking pan, put a layer of potatoes, a layer of chicken, parsley and grated cheese and so on. Pour half of the broth.

Beat the 4 eggs and pour on the top. Pour some broth and stir to mix well. You can if you want add some cheese. Put the oven medium heat for 15 minutes. When out of the oven, pour the remaining of the broth.

Bon Appetit!!
